FINISHING PUTTY (STRUCTURA)

Information

PROPERTIES
Easy to apply and shape, good adhesion to surface. On top of the product, paint or varnish can be applied. Well mashed water-based coarse-grained putty with dolomite filler used for finishing of dry interior walls.

BASE / SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be dry, clean, smooth, and stable as well as possess load bearing characteristics. There must be no peeling layers on top of it. Old peeling paint must be removed and the weak surface must be cleaned until the result is a solid surface. To improve bonding, the surface should be primed using base primers. To improve bond, the surface previously painted using glazing paint should be grinded until matt. The surface previously painted using chalk or lime paint should be thoroughly washed to remove the paint. Surfaces affected by mould, fungi and other organic contaminants must be additionally cleaned using appropriate cleaners. Plasterboard joints should be filled with reinforcing filler. Dense, non-absorbent mineral surfaces or completely non-absorbent concrete bases as well as mineral plaster surfaces should be primed using bond enhancing primers. Highly absorbent or unevenly absorbent bases (such as porous concrete and plasterboards) should be primed with base primer.

CONSUMPTION AND OUTPUT
2-3 kg/m² (depending on the desired texture of the decorated surface).

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Do not store at a temperature below + 5 °C. Keep in the original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place.

SHELF LIFE
Best for 12 months from the date of production.

ATTENTION! WORK SAFETY
Do not pour down the drain, into water bodies, or on the ground. Use personal protective equipment for skin and eyes. After contact with eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Stir well before use. Mix the product manually or mechanically, e.g. by using mixer. When working as well as at the time of drying air and base temperature must be at least + 10 °C. Optimal working conditions: temperature of + 20 °C and relative humidity of 65%.

Using metal spatula, apply 1-10 mm layer of the finishing putty. Depending on the desired texture of the decorated surface, form the applied finishing putty using (notched) spatulas, various brushes, finishing rollers and other finishing tools. If the temperature rises above + 25 °C while you are working, spray the surface formed with water. After having formed the texture of decorated surface, allow the putty to dry. When dry, grind the surface using abrasive mesh, remove dust and cover with matte or glossy lacquer varnish. The varnish can be coloured. Such varnish may give the decorated surfaces different colours and shades. The finishing putty itself can also be coloured.
