UNIVERSAL GYPSUM PUTTY (UGL-10)

Information

PROPERTIES
Universal use. Good adhesion to substrates. High resistance.

BASE / SURFACE PREPARATION
The base should be properly prepared, i.e. its structure should be smooth and uniform, and all dust, grease, lubricants, and other technical fluids should be removed from its surface. Use water and detergent to remove the remaining oils and lubricants. In order to protect the base from environmental effects, apply an antimycotic agent, then clean the base mechanically. Remove old peeling paint, then clean the surface. Use bottom primers for highly or unevenly absorbent and dusty surfaces. Use bond enhancing primers for gypsum surfaces and plasterboards.

MIXTURE PREPARATION
Pour the dry mix into the appropriate amount of cold water, constantly mixing manually or mechanically (e.g., using low speed mixer) until homogeneous. Leave for 5 minutes (swelling time), then mix again.

CONSUMPTION AND OUTPUT
1 kg/m² per 1 mm thick layer.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the product in a secure, dry place and keep the product dry..

SHELF LIFE
Best for 6 months from the date of production.

ATTENTION! WORK SAFETY
The work must be carried out in a dry environment. When working as well as at the time of drying air and base temperature must be between + 5 °C and + 25 °C. All data and recommendations provided are valid when the air and substrate temperature is equal to + 20 °C and relative humidity 60%. Under other conditions, the properties of the product may change.
Provided work recommendations are observed, the producer ensures the quality of the mixture. However, the producer will not be responsible for any consequences that may result from use of the mixture in other conditions, or for other purposes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use clean stainless steel tools (spatulas, putty knives, etc.). For levelling the substrate and filling cracks or defects, use putty knife in such as way so as to fill cracks and gaps completely. If necessary, apply the product several times, laying each new layer after the previous layer has dried completely. After putty has dried, use fine sandpaper or abrasive mesh to polish rough places. Use appropriate tools (putty knives, structural rollers, paintbrushes, brushes, etc.) to form ornamental structures depending on the desired result. The prepared mix should be used up before it starts to harden, i.e. within 1 hour after preparation. Do not mix the hardened mixture with water and fresh gypsum mix.
